Many thanks to our friends and clients for our best year yet. 2007 brought numerous changes and new adventures to Kachemak Guide Bureau. Building our new fly shop and KGB headquarters on the Homer Spit was a great step forward. Our newly designed, premium fly fishing destinations and quality flies and gear have been met with great enthusiasm, and satisfied many experienced anglers.
Staying true to our motto, "Getting You Out There," KGB/Hackle Shack remains focused on offering the best of what Alaska holds-- away from the crowds. We are very fortunate to have access to some very special places.

We are comprised of experienced, knowledgable, and friendly guides who live, work and play here; this is our backyard and we are its stewards.
Kachemak Bay is home to the second largest tidal fluctuation in the world:
