The Hackle Shack Fly Shop has made a name for itself in Alaska and far beyond, offering quality flies tried and tested on local waters and giving you honest and friendly advice. Being based in Homer, Alaska gives us at Kachemak Guide Bureau a unique opportunity to access land not heavily traveled. We take full advantage of any opportunity to visit rivers and streams not often seen, let alone fished, and we will continue to expand our field of operation by going any place our air taxis will take us.

We are currently operating our first full season of fly fishing in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Although there is still much to be discovered, we have gained a ton of local knowledge that we can't wait to share. As in Alaska, we are able to offer an extensive menu of activities in addition to fly fishing. From SCUBA to surf, we've got it covered.
